About Penny
I've always loved art and photography from a child and some how sold my first drawing before I had even reached Key Stage 2. Unfortunately I didn't get to persue my creative calling when I left school, although that was where my heart was. Instead, by the time I was 21 I had served three years in the Army and got married.
It was much later in my 40s that I was really able to give myself the time to practice the skills I so wanted to learn so bad and as such I joined a photography club while living in Northern Ireland and started to see the world through a lens, with a view to transform these images into my art at some point.
I am now in my 50's and living back in Worcester where I was born. I have a small art studio in my back garden and now a member of the The Beacon Camera Club and Worcester Society of Artists.
I exhibit where I can, which is not easy currently with the pandemic. However, you can always see what I am doing here on my website.
I am happy to take commission work. I enjoy drawing pet portraits and people and astract fluid art paintings.
